Lawrence (Larry) Creemer is an experienced Principle Investigator in both Organic and Medicinal Chemistry with a demonstrated 30+ year history of success in the chemical life-science industry in both Discovery Chemistry (lead generation and lead optimization) and Process Chemistry (identifying and synthesizing 14C-radiotracers, metabolites, degradants and related substances and new chemical processes). He also has extensive knowledge of finding, evaluating and managing external technology opportunities.
He is the holder of 16 granted U.S. patents in the area of CNS pharmaceuticals, animal health macrolide antibiotics / natural products and immune-potentiators as well as agro-chemicals, including co-invention of the commercially successful insecticide Spinetoram with annual sales of +$300 million
Larry is the co-author 23 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and a co-presenter of 22 symposia presentations. He is skilled in Research and Development (R&D) Chemistry, Macrolide Natural Product chemistry, technical evaluations of structure activity relationships and biological and clinical data and technical writing. He received a Master of Science (MS) degree from Purdue University focused in Organic Chemistry and is experienced with Sourcing, Leading and Managing both internal and external project opportunities in Formulations, Process and Discovery Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Bioprocess R&D.
