Lamp-Flask Logo
For those who are curious about the origins of the Lamp-Flask logo:
I originally created this emblem to adorn a music box to celebrate my daughter’s PhD in organic chemistry, and it seemed the perfect choice when I was thinking of a logo for Alchemy Ideation, LLC.
Within this emblem we have the boiling flask, which is a classic representation of organic or reactive chemistry. The flask has been embedded in an oil lamp, which is the ancient symbol for enlightenment.
This logo therefore contains both the elements of Alchemy (the original form of chemistry) as shown in the boiling flask and Ideation (as a form of enlightenment) symbolized by the lamp.
